It's been almost a year since the last update. Not sure if anyone ever checks this site anymore, but the label is done. This site will remain active indefinitely. Anything developing or not developing with the label can be found at the myspace page which is much easier to keep up to date (sales etc).

There's no long story, but the Vomit release was NGS #10 and that seems enough of an accomplishment for me. Theres way too many record labels releasing way too much sub-standard music because they're friends with the bands, maybe I'm a part of it, maybe I'm not. I'm too tired to contemplate anything that pretentious. Have fun.

Christ it's been a long time since an update.
The new Johnny Vomit CD/LP entitled 'Extreme Championship Drinking' should most definitely be out by years end. The CD's and LP's are getting pressed as well as some of the artwork and we're just waiting on the ever elusive cover...

Ok...Johnny Vomit is set to record for spring and everything seems to be running semi smoothly. Juicy Joel from Clenched Fist is doing the cover art.

Some people, for whatever dysfunctional reason that may be...might be curious about whats going on with the label. Nothing is. The site hasnt been updated in ages and I'm really not doing anything at the moment outside of putting some cash back in my bank account the label has drained over the past 5 years. I am not done. NGSR10!!! is around the corner and most likely will be the first full length by the almighty JOHNNY VOMIT. They've been kicking around the bars and back alleys of Chicago for over 15 years now and if you like bands like Fear, The Mentors, DRI and The Meatmen you will love this band. This will also be the first appearance of NGS vinyl!!!! This is PROBABLY going to happen spring/summer of '06. The band is taking their sweet time with this project and for once I'm completely content with that. It allows me some time to rest and re-group..we will be back....and it will be ugly.

OK, so we finally have a working mailing list, to sign up go to the contacts page.
From Dec thru Jan we'll be having our annual 3 for $20 deal. There is nothing about this in the webstore so please dont order three cd's for the regular price and then ask for the extra money back. People have done it. Just paypal $20 to ngsrecords@comcast.net or snail mail it to the address in the webstore, and list the cd's you want. This is good till Jan 31st.
Everything is running fairly smooth with the Neglect cd and it should be out by the end of Feb. Alot of people have asked...yes, there will be some Neglect shirts made up...probably shortly after the cd's release. Sign up for the mailing list or keep an eye on the site.

"Everytime I try to get out....they pull me back in." Just when I was happily resting in semi-retirement, I got the offer of a lifetime. This spring we are proudly releasing the complete Don Fury sessions by the legendary NEGLECT. To say we are amped about this release would be a rediculous understatement. This will feature all 19 songs from the Don Fury sessions, remixed and remastered with the full package...lyrics, flyers the whole 9 yards.
Early spring release. Dig it.

Check the webstore for new T-shirts and hoodies from CHEECH. I also have a limited quantity of some new shirts INSULT TO INJURY have made up.
The UNDER ONE FLAG/ANOTHER WAY split and the CHEECH cd have both had their artworked proofed and should be in our hands within the first week of June. These cd's ARE available for pre-order now. Mostly just so I won't have to update that page again in a few weeks since we needed to get the shirts up there.

The UNDER ONE FLAG/ANOTHER WAY split CD is at the plant and will be released June 14th. The CHEECH cd will be sent out by Tuesday and has a release date of June 28th.

Whoa 420 dude! Too bad I'm edge brah sick mosh though!. Anyway check out the webstore, we have the IRON BOOTS demos, very good stuff and some cd's by a UKHC band called 6 FT DITCH, heavy heavy heavy.
Also...the UNDER ONE FLAG/ANOTHER WAY split IS coming out very soon...I'm waiting on final cover art and I SHOULD have the master this week.
Cheech is still rollin along and we'll have more news on their new NGS full length "Kepp Your Pimp Hand Strong" VERY soon.
